The Territory where we select the products
Southern Italy and in particular the regions of Calabria and Sicily have been lands where different cultures settled, leaving a strong inheritance of their passage. Greeks, Romans, Byzantines, Arabs, and Normans have left in these lands unique cultures, art, knowledge and traditions that have produced high-quality products that have been preserved over the centuries. The province of Reggio Calabria for Bergamot, Vibo Valentia for N’duja of Spilinga, Crotone for Pecorino and Sardella, also known as “Calabrian caviar”, that of Catanzaro is known for its spicy productions, that of Cosenza for its typical cakes, the Cedar and then all the provinces of Sicily with its thousand flavors. Throughout this piece of Italy thanks to the indigenous production of grain, vines and olive groves, it is possible to appreciate a particular craftsmanship of pasta, wine and oil that, by moving to the climatic conditions and altimeters in which they are produced, allow to propose unique products and first-rate crafts that are at the basis of the Mediterranean diet for a nutritious and healthy cuisine that has been passed through centuries through the family life of the peasantry and, as such, close to the earth.
