From a land of great history, from the capital of Magna Grecia, from the land that produces 90% of the Calabrian wine, an important choice is born to dedicate our passion to our history. A wine that was born in Crotone where the Greeks developed effective viticulture techniques, favoring the cultivation of the vine and the production of wine, until they became an integral part of the cultures and rituals of the local population.
Our Wine, a mix of history and passion
It’s the wine for roast veal and beef, venison, lamb and the hard cheeses. The wine should be served at room temperature, and the bottles are uncorked a few hours before serving.
Produced only from carefully selected Gaglioppo grapes in the historical vineyards of Cirò, grown in the sapling. Vinified in red at controlled temperature, with a maceration of about 4 days, following a soft pressing, we obtain the Rosso Classico Riserva wine which, aged for at least three years with subsequent refinement in six-month barriques, is bottled.
